Do you have an understanding of the automated warehouse? We work, now many industries are used to the automated warehouse, automated warehouse has the advantage that many people are not expected, in fact, a large automated warehouse only a few simple staff, but also fast incoming and outgoing goods, automated warehouse common use of pallet racking what kinds, their advantages and disadvantages are? Hangzhou remote precision for your detailed introduction to the following:

Advantages and disadvantages of automated warehouses?

1. Structural pallet racking

Structural pallet racking is designed to store heavy items. The design is similar to rolling shelving, but with structural access. The structure of the building itself can be designed so that columns are used to simultaneously support the roof of the storage facility. In this case, the columns of the structural pallet frame replace the vertical support I-beams of the storage building. The system is a rack-supported building.

2. Forklift racking in ultra-narrow roads

Also known as VNA, it uses more tightly configured selective pallet racking to provide maximum space utilization within the storage facility. These systems are typically operated in conjunction with a straight-line or rail-guided forward truck system. The wire system consists of wires embedded in the concrete floor that provide tracking for the forward truck. The guide rail system consists of angle irons with bolts secured to the floor for each row length. A distinct advantage of narrow aisle pallet racking is that it can be stored quickly without the need for large aisles, thereby improving space utilization. The compact storage method is ideal when space is limited.

Since loads are stored deep within a pallet, this is the lowest density storage of all systems, but it allows unobstructed access to each pallet. It can be used in a variety of aisle configurations and can be used with any type of forklift. 4. Double-depth racking Double-depth racks store one pallet load in another pallet at twice the depth of a single depth. This design doubles the storage space, but it limits access and flexibility. To enter a rear pallet load, the front pallet position must be empty. Unless the pallet is stored on a last-in, first-out basis, double handling is necessary. In most cases, two pallets with the same product are stored in double-deep racking slots, which limits flexibility and requires a deep forklift to approach the rear location for the load.
